ST. CROIX RIVER ART EXHIBIT

CALLING ARTISTS TO SUBMIT A WORK FOR A SPECIAL ONE DAY EXHIBIT FOR THE LIGHTING FESTIVAL

The Taylors Falls Lighting Festival theme is “Our Wild and Scenic River”. This year we are inviting a limited number of artists to display a painting of the St. Croix River at a one-day exhibit in the Town House School on Friday, November 23 between 3 and 8 PM. The river paintings will compliment the dioramas of river scenes created by third graders from Taylors Falls Elementary. 15 works, 1 per artist, will be accepted due to space limitation.

Qualifications:

Needs to be a painting. No photographs.
Must include the St. Croix River in some way.
May not exceed 24” x 36.”
Must have wire for hanging.
Artworks will not be available for sale that day.

Bring your work to the Town House School, 331 Government St., Taylors Falls on Tuesday, November 20 between 6 and 8 PM and pick up work at 8PM Friday, November 23. A 3x5 card will be provided for you to print title, media and your name.
