7pm, Saturday, Nov. 25 @ Coffee Talk

Are you interested in sharing your poetry or story? Maybe you have an appreciation for poetry and storytelling and want to listen to someone perform? Or maybe you want a fun night out and try something new? If you answered “Yes” to any of those questions, then come to Coffee Talk in Taylors Falls during the Lighting Festival and enjoy an inspiring evening. Free, but a donation to the Lighting Festival is appreciated.

Suggestion for a lovely late afternoon and evening: Shop at the International Bazaar and then kindle your Christmas spirit by attending the 4:30 Ecumenical Vespers Service. Both at the 1861 Methodist Church (featuring favorite carols, hymns and choral selections). Afterward, enjoy dinner at one of Taylors Falls’ restaurants/bars and then walk to Coffee Talk for a beverage and be moved by the performers at the Poetry and StorySlam.
